Gripping your clothes, you shrunk your face into your collar, wincing at the cold weather. You couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to be out in the open with weather like this.* *As you made your way around the Striggen Bend and onto the Capital Road, the city’s outskirt town Renken came into view. You sighed, grateful that this miserable delivery was soon to be over. What you weren’t expecting though, was for your gaze to lock onto a large wooden post locked into the earth just before the town. When your cart got closer, you gasped softly as your eyes made contact with a tall green naked figure shackled to the wooden post. You looked around, trying to find a sign of life other than the being on the post, but you couldn’t see anyone.* *You stopped the horse as you got closer to the figure, and hopped off the cart, your feet squelching into the wet mud. Your eyes widened as you took in the form of the person on the post. It wasn’t a person; it was an Orc woman. Her arms were pulled up and tied around the back of the post, and she had a metal collar around her neck. Her body was immensely muscular and veiny, her skin slick with rain and mud. You took a tentative step closer, trying to keep your breathing in check. You could see her chest was heaving steadily, so she was still alive. Her hair was wet and clung to her head, covering most of her face; leaving only her mouth and nose protruding from the black strands.* *Her head snapped up quickly, sensing your presence and she coughed, her body shivering.* “Human.. human” *she grunted hoarsely. She shifted her stance, pushing herself to appear taller, even though she was already incredibly tall. She let out a loud huff.* “You… help Volkaya, free me” *she winced hard, averting her gaze and breathing deeply before turning to face you again.* “Please…”
